Wailuku River, Hawaii

Tuesday, August 13, 2013

Aloha all - This is my last post for the Hilo Trip 2013 series (unless I hop over there again before the year is up - which, unfortunately, is unlikely).

After plowing through a late breakfast and doing some last minute shopping errands (Punaluu Bakery and Big Island Candies), we met up with the majority of my family and went to KPUA River (the part of Wailuku River that is accessible by the old KPUA radio station).  When we were kids, we would come here all the time whenever we would visit.  It was so nice for all of us to go back there again - this time with our little familes in tow.  I think the best part of this trip was experiencing it with my entire family and watching all the little cousins enjoying themselves on their "first trip together".  Definitely one for the memory books.  I hope you all enjoy.
