Weekly Wishes

Hidey Ho neighbors!!!  Good Morning sunshines.  Well the weekend has come and gone and here we are back to another Manic Monday.  Seriously - they are pretty crazy for me.  It's like meeting day at work, all we do is meet meet meet.

And we're back for another edition of Melyssa's lovely Weekly Wishes link up!  I encourage you to join.  It is really lovely feeding off all the positive attitudes at the party.  So last week I just wanted to get off my lazy butt and do a re-fire.  And I totally whipped that butt into shape!  First off.. Compliments of Instagram check out my super healthy lunches.
From Top Left to Bottom Right: Carrot Sticks with Homemade Fat Free Ranch Dressing (yes, I even make my own seasoning yes - channeling my inner Martha); Gala Apple, Walnuts and Natural Cheese; Frozen Black Grapes; Pickles; and Curry Chicken Salad with Olive Oil Mayo.  OM - I wanted to eat this the night I made it, but I was a good girl!! PS: I got the tupperware in a 2-pack from Walmart!!

Next we had the blog!  While I haven't updated the design since last week, I finally figured out DISQUS.. YAY! I was having issues, which was odd.  Also - I figured out how to do my header the way I've been wanting it done for a while, so I'll be working on that this week.

Finally the wannabe job.  Spoiler alert below:

I am putting together my start-up consulting site and hopefully will be going live within the next few weeks!  So excited I finally carved out some time to really work on this and get things down.  It's been in the making since the beginning of the year.

This week we're keep it simple.  STUPID SIMPLE.  It takes 4 weeks to solidify a habit.  And so my weekly wishes are remaining the same.  Let's just keep the momentum going with the healthy meals and constantly improving on my brand and online presence.

(Don't forget to link up with Melyssa!)
xoxo, Aukele

  4. Oooh, your lunch looks FANTASTICALLY healthy AND delicious! A super powerful combo! Yum yum!

And ooh, I am excited about this consulting site! That blurb makes me want to work with you -- so you're doing something very, very, very right!

And finally, I feel ya on the 4 weeks thing! I do better with goals that kind of are spread out over time but require some action every day. I think revisiting the same goals just reinforces your actions, like you said!

    Best wishes!!! :)

  6. Great work with your healthy habit goals and you are totally right about repetition being key to creating a new habit. Just take it one day at a time and before you know it, it'll be second nature to you! Good luck with your new venture and I'll be cheering you on every step of the way! :)

  7. You have no idea. Ended up installing it the manual way. Glad it is over with though. I hated not knowing if commenters were getting my replies if I couldn't reply via email.

  8. Thank you Allie! I'm super pumped about it. I wish I could just go live with it - but this one really needs to have all of its ducks in a row first!

  9. Hey Hey Erika. Thanks!! Lunch tastes so much better when you know its fresh, rather than eating foods you don't even know what is made out of, you know?! I'm super super excited about my start-up site as well - and would love the opportunity to work with you! When I near going live I'll keep you in mind and send out an email.

Yes - this weekly link up, helps to keep me in check of these goals that are more spread out. Definitely an accountability thing.

    Have a great Monday!

  13. WOOHOO!! Good luck with your site (what a fun thing to be working on)! I just finished reading The Power of Habit and want to change so many things in my life. It is always nice to have a number (4 weeks) to attach to goals. Breaking them down into bite sized pieces makes them so much easier to achieve. This is my first time participating in Weekly Wishes and I'm excited to follow your progress :)
